Balfour Beatty Appoints Annette Ebright as Vice President of Compliance

Balfour Beatty has announced the appointment of Annette Ebright as the company’s new Vice President of Compliance, based out of its Charlotte, North Carolina office.

In her new role, Annette will oversee the implementation of legal, regulatory, and operational compliance across Balfour Beatty’s Buildings and Civils businesses. She will also manage risk assessments and work closely with senior leadership, including legal and internal audit teams, to strengthen and refine the company’s ethics and compliance program, with a particular focus on the company’s U.S. operations.

Annette will also be tasked with advancing Balfour Beatty’s people-first culture and values, promoting the company’s “speak up” behaviors among employees nationwide.

Before joining Balfour Beatty, Annette held compliance leadership roles at XPO Logistics and RXO, where she led compliance initiatives and built strong relationships with executive leaders. She has also worked as an attorney at Equitable Advisors, LLC and was a partner at a law firm in Charlotte, specializing in litigation and compliance.

Annette holds a bachelor’s degree and graduate-level certification from The Ohio State University, as well as a law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
