Wright Block & Precast Expands Operations with Acquisition of American Block and Eastern Vault

Princeton – Wright Block & Precast, a leading producer and supplier of block, brick, manufactured stone, and precast concrete in the central Appalachian region, announced on Friday the acquisition of American Block and Eastern Vault, located along Courthouse Road near Princeton.

This acquisition enhances Wright Block & Precast’s standing as a vital subsidiary within the Wright Concrete portfolio, according to company officials.

Operations at the newly acquired Princeton facility are scheduled to restart on Nov. 15, initially creating 12 jobs in the CMU production sector.

The company expects to add another 28 positions by Q3 of 2025 as it expands its precast production capabilities, officials noted.

This growth allows Wright Block & Precast to strategically bolster its service capabilities for customers in the mining and commercial construction industries, a company press release indicated.

The Princeton location will serve as the newest block and precast production facility under the Wright Block & Precast brand, complementing existing operations in Pikeville, Allen, and Madisonville, Kentucky. This development is in line with the company’s goal to grow its footprint and improve its service offerings, as stated by company officials.
