New York, NY — Jones, a pioneering vertical software company, has announced the successful close of its $15 million Series B funding round, led by NewSpring Capital. The investment will drive the development and deployment of GenAI-powered Agents, enhancing the efficiency of insurance verification processes for real estate and construction industries. Existing investors, including Hetz Ventures, Camber Creek, Khosla Ventures, and JLL Spark, also participated in the round.
Co-founded by Omri Stern and Michael Rudman, Jones leverages AI to simplify insurance certificate (COI) collection, verify compliance, and seamlessly integrate with key ERP systems. The company has already scaled its solution to manage compliance for over 25,000 real estate properties and construction projects spanning 2.5 billion square feet across the U.S.
“This funding is a pivotal step in our mission to help clients make smarter decisions about insurance risk while mitigating costly claims and inefficiencies,” said Omri Stern, CEO of Jones. “Economic pressures have underscored the urgent need for innovation in insurance, and we’re proud to contribute to the industry’s transformation with scalable AI-driven solutions.”
Jones plans to introduce a suite of AI Agents capable of automating routine tasks, analyzing complex insurance data, and enhancing operational decision-making. These AI-powered assistants will be fine-tuned using proprietary insurance data, risk benchmarks, and insights derived from millions of verified insurance documents.
Marc Lederman, General Partner at NewSpring Capital, expressed confidence in Jones’ potential: “COI and insurance policy verification is a highly manual, error-prone process ripe for disruption. Jones enables construction and real estate companies to scale while mitigating legal and financial risks in today’s litigious environment. This investment reflects our belief in Jones’ ability to lead this critical evolution.”
The company is also addressing industry-wide challenges such as rising insurance costs. Jones’ new Insurance Policy Verification feature identifies exclusionary language in policies, helping clients avoid costly payouts tied to third-party claims—issues that traditional COIs cannot resolve.
The funding follows a milestone-rich 2024, which included a strategic integration with CMiC, major product upgrades, and onboarding marquee enterprise clients.
With its innovative blend of machine learning and human compliance expertise, Jones is positioned to redefine the insurance verification landscape. The Series B funding will further accelerate its growth and solidify its standing as a category leader.
