INTECH Construction Promotes Mills and Rinaldi to Associate Principal

PHILADELPHIA — INTECH Construction, a leader in general contracting and construction management, has announced the promotions of Colleen Mills, LEED GA, and Philip Rinaldi, LEED GA, to the role of Associate Principal. The promotions, effective January 1, 2025, are a recognition of their dedication and significant contributions to INTECH and its portfolio of projects.

“Colleen and Phil have demonstrated incredible commitment to INTECH’s core values of safety, excellence, diversity, and community. We are proud to have them join the leadership team,” said INTECH President Phil Moses. “Colleen’s background in architecture gives her an invaluable perspective. She’s a critical thinker, capable of identifying and resolving project obstacles and motivating others to perform at the highest level. Phil specializes in complex renovation projects with tight timelines. His nimble approach and proficiency in scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project accounting lend comprehensive management to every project. Both have made – and will continue to make – lasting contributions to INTECH, our culture, and our projects. They are true ambassadors of INTECH to our clients.”

Colleen Mills became part of INTECH in 2018 as a senior project manager and was promoted to project director in 2022. She has managed over $100 million in contracts across various markets, including commercial, hospitality, education, and multi-family residential. Mills is currently leading the construction of a U.S. Department of Energy lab at Princeton University and recently completed the Two Jackson Square Public Safety Headquarters in Jersey City, N.J. and Camden, N.J.’s Hilton Garden Inn, the first new hotel in the city in 50 years. Mills is a proactive leader, chairing the INTECH employee engagement committee, and holds an M.S. in Construction Management and a B.Arch. from Jefferson University. She is also an adjunct professor and serves on the Construction Management Advisory Council at Jefferson University. Additionally, Mills chairs the communications committee of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Greater Philadelphia and completed the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership in North Carolina. She resides in Medford, N.J.

“It’s an honor to be selected as the next associate principal,” said Mills. “I’ve had a lot of support from exceptional mentors, and I continually work hard to be of merit to my colleagues and the company. In this position, I want to foster existing and build new relationships, make INTECH employees feel valued and engaged, and act as a perennial leader so that INTECH can be the best in the construction business.”

A third-generation construction professional, Phil Rinaldi joined INTECH in 2015 and was promoted to director of the renovations and interiors group in 2017. His expertise spans estimating, budgeting, project management, and personnel leadership. Recent projects led by Rinaldi include the Moore College of Art and Design theater renovation and the Lyndon at the Curtis interior fit-out. Rinaldi is an active member of INTECH’s diversity committee, which focuses on promoting equity within the company and its projects. He studied at the Academy of Computer Graphics and lives in Berlin, N.J.

“This promotion is a huge milestone for me. It’s exciting and rewarding to work hard and realize that others have noticed,” explained Rinaldi. “The ownership at INTECH has always been involved in projects and there to help employees. It’s a very supportive company. I look forward to carrying on that culture as a leader while expanding the renovations and interiors group.”
