Highwire Hits Key Milestones, Expands Leadership and Platform

BURLINGTON, Mass. — Highwire, a leading platform for managing risk in capital project construction, made major strides in 2024, including customer growth, innovative product launches, and executive team expansion. These milestones further Highwire's mission to modernize construction risk management, moving away from outdated prequalification and compliance processes toward a focus on Contractor Success.

The company welcomed a range of new customers, including National Grid, Vantage Data Centers, NOVO Construction, and Apollo Mechanical, with particular success in high-growth sectors like data centers and semiconductor manufacturing.

“Three years ago, we articulated our vision to change how the industry mitigates risk,” said Don Fornes, Chairman and CEO of Highwire. “We’re helping our clients move beyond traditional, ‘yes’ or ‘no’ prequalification and compliance to actually helping contractors deliver better outcomes. In an industry where labor and subcontractors are scarce, the Contractor Success model is the smartest way forward.”

Highwire also expanded its network to over 60,000 companies, helping clients find more reliable contractors across new geographies. The Highwire Network offers detailed contractor risk profiles to help owners and general contractors make better decisions.

This year, Highwire launched several new products, including a comprehensive Prequalification solution, advanced AI safety risk analytics, and a mobile app for field inspections and incident management. These innovations simplify risk management while providing clients with richer insights.

Additionally, Highwire launched a Procore integration, which has been widely adopted by general contractor clients. The company’s engineering team expanded with the hiring of Harinder Bhinder as Vice President of Engineering and the promotion of Kyra van den Bosch to Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations.

“Highwire’s achievements over the past year reflect our commitments not only to innovation and client success but to improving worker safety. Owners and general contractors alike will see better outcomes when they work together to deliver Contractor Success,” Fornes added.
