A New Chapter in Leadership
Fluor Corporation, a leading global engineering and construction firm, has announced significant leadership changes aimed at bolstering its market position and operational efficiency. Jim Bruer, previously serving as Group President of Energy Solutions, has been elevated to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
This strategic move is designed to foster a more holistic approach to project delivery and talent management across Fluor's three core business segments: Energy Solutions, Mission Solutions, and Urban Solutions. By centralizing operational oversight, Fluor seeks to optimize resource allocation, enhance project execution, and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
Concurrently, Kevin Hannonds, the company's long-standing Managing General Counsel and Senior Vice President, has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. He succeeds John Reynolds, who retires after a distinguished 40-year career with Fluor. Reynolds will continue to serve as Corporate Secretary until May 2025.
"I am extremely proud of our accomplishments over the past few years under our 'Building a Better Future' strategy," stated David E. Constable, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fluor. "As we embark on the next phase of our journey, we are focused on maximizing growth opportunities, refining our execution, generating robust cash flow, and nurturing our most valuable asset: our people."
