The 46th annual West Virginia Construction & Design EXPO is gearing up to take place on March 26-27, 2025, at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. This highly anticipated event is expected to draw nearly 4,000 attendees and feature almost 300 exhibitors, as well as more than 80 continuing education seminars and a range of other activities for industry professionals.
The EXPO serves as a hub for professionals in West Virginia’s construction, engineering, and design industries. Whether you're directly involved or supporting these sectors, the event offers valuable opportunities to network, expand knowledge, and explore the latest innovations—all under one roof.

One of the highlights of EXPO 2025 is the Keynote Session on March 26 at 9 a.m. featuring Emily Calandrelli, a celebrated engineer, science communicator, and television host. A proud West Virginia native, Emily is a graduate of WVU’s College of Engineering and Mineral Resources. Known for her ability to make science and technology accessible to the public, Emily—also known as "The Space Gal"—has an extraordinary story to tell, including experiencing zero-gravity flight.
Emily is a correspondent on the hit series Bill Nye Saves the World and host of Xploration Outer Space, where she highlights the intersection of STEM, sustainability, and the built environment. She was recently named the 2024 West Virginian of the Year and holds the distinction of being the 100th woman in space, a remarkable milestone that promises to inspire those involved in the future of construction and infrastructure development.
EXPO 2025 will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on March 26, and 8 a.m. to noon on March 27. A full schedule of seminars, many offering free continuing education credits, is available on the EXPO website. Registration is free for qualified attendees and can be done online at www.wvexpo.com or in person at the event.
This year’s EXPO promises to be an invaluable experience for industry professionals, with the opportunity to learn from experts, engage with peers, and discover cutting-edge solutions to drive the future of West Virginia's construction and design industries.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect and grow—mark your calendars for March 26-27, 2025!
