The project aims to expand access to care for veterans in Ohio.
Turner Construction Company has been selected to build a $90 million senior living facility for the Sandusky Veterans Home in Ohio. With a 136-year history of providing comprehensive care to veterans, the Sandusky Veterans Home will expand its capacity to serve more veterans through this new project.
The expansion will add 128 patient care beds, helping to address the growing demand for veteran care in the region and creating a lasting, positive impact on veterans and their families.
“We are honored to be chosen for a project that will have such a meaningful impact on Ohio’s veteran community,” said Taurean Spratt, Vice President and General Manager of Turner Construction Company. “This addition will enhance the Sandusky Veterans Home’s capacity and reinforce its role as a trusted care provider for our veterans. We look forward to working closely with the Sandusky community throughout this important project.”
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2025, with the project expected to be completed in 2027.
