New Facility to Enhance Education and Set Sustainability Benchmarks.

Turner Construction Company has been chosen to build the new Greenwich Central Middle School in Greenwich, Connecticut. The $112 million project will involve demolishing the existing 1958 building and constructing a 135,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility designed to meet current educational needs and prepare for future generations. The project will exceed Connecticut’s sustainability standards, incorporating energy-efficient systems, cutting-edge electrical and plumbing technologies, and a rooftop photovoltaic system for on-site renewable energy production.

“We are honored to partner with the Greenwich community on a project that will positively impact students for decades to come,” said Chad McCullough, Vice President and General Manager of Turner Construction Company. “This facility reflects the Town’s commitment to excellence in education and is a model for education facility building practices. We are excited to collaborate with the Town, our design partners, and the local community to bring this vision to life.”

Construction is set to begin in early 2025, with the completion expected in 2026.
