Turner Marks Milestone on Alan B. Miller Medical Center Project
Turner Construction Company marked a significant milestone on the Universal Health Services Alan B. Miller Medical Center project in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with a topping-out ceremony to signal the end of vertical construction. This new facility will greatly enhance healthcare access in the region.
The project will feature a state-of-the-art, 432,000-square-foot hospital with two podium levels and five patient floors. Each floor will have five patient units, each with 30 beds. The hospital will include 150 private patient rooms, a future medical office building, and a helistop for quick emergency care. The center will also house key departments such as admissions, administration, food services, surgical services, imaging, emergency care, and additional support spaces.
"We are proud to reach this milestone in constructing the Alan B. Miller Medical Center, a facility that will enhance healthcare access for the community of Palm Beach Gardens," said Christian Jahrling, Vice President and General Manager of Turner Construction Company. "This project exemplifies our commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered facilities, combining advanced healthcare infrastructure with thoughtful design to serve residents' needs for years to come. We're honored to collaborate with Universal Health Services to bring this vision to life."
The Alan B. Miller Medical Center is scheduled for completion in 2026 and will significantly expand access to high-quality medical care for Palm Beach Gardens and neighboring communities.
