Advancing Healthcare Education with a State-of-the-Art Facility
The new facility at Evergreen Valley College is designed to replicate a real-world healthcare environment. With a sterile corridor mimicking an intensive care unit, as well as simulation labs and flexible learning spaces, the building will play a pivotal role in preparing students for immediate entry into the patient care workforce. The addition further strengthens the College’s Nursing Program, equipping future medical professionals with hands-on training in a setting that mirrors the clinical experience.

A Commitment to Safety and Excellence
The award acknowledges Turner’s dedication to fostering an injury-free workplace and its proactive approach to ensuring the safety of employees, trade partners, and project stakeholders. Central to this commitment is Turner’s Building L.I.F.E.® (Living Injury Free Every day) program, which prioritizes incident prevention through pre-planning, rigorous training, and a culture of shared responsibility. By empowering workers with the tools and knowledge to identify and mitigate potential hazards, Turner continues to set the industry standard for safety excellence.

By fostering a culture where every worker feels empowered to take ownership of safety, Turner ensures that safety is not just a policy—but a core value. From jobsite hazard analysis to daily safety briefings and wellness programs, Turner continuously invests in innovative solutions to enhance worker protection.
