Hartz Mountain Industries has officially started leasing The Reserve at Estuary, a 218-unit rental development located at 1525 Harbor Boulevard in Weehawken, New Jersey. Designed by MHS Architecture, the seven-story building is still under construction though the leasing process has begun. Once completed, this will marks a major milestone—not just for the company but for the town itself—as it caps a 40-year redevelopment journey of the Weehawken waterfront.

The completion of this project symbolizes the transformation of what was once a heavily industrial zone into a thriving mixed-use destination with residential, retail, and recreational components.

“The Reserve at Estuary completes the vision for Lincoln Harbor,” Hartz Mountain said in a statement, highlighting the site's evolution into a vibrant community hub.

Modern Living Meets Waterfront Views

The development offers a variety of units, from studios to two-bedroom-plus-den layouts. Each residence features open-concept designs, floor-to-ceiling windows, custom closets, and private outdoor spaces in select units—elements crafted to meet the expectations of modern renters.

Residents will also have access to 40,000 square feet of amenities, including a swimming pool with sundeck, landscaped courtyard, coworking lounge, fitness center, game room, and a rooftop entertainment lounge. Additionally, the building includes 200 parking spaces, supporting the needs of commuters and residents alike.

A Community Anchored in Convenience

Located in the Lincoln Harbor neighborhood, The Reserve is surrounded by a mix of convenience and charm. The area is home to a Whole Foods Market, an array of waterfront parks, popular dining spots, and access to the 18.5-mile Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, ideal for walking, biking, or simply enjoying scenic views of Manhattan.

A new retail space is also planned, with an expected opening in early 2026, further enhancing the area's appeal.

Unmatched Transit Connectivity

Connectivity is a major perk for future residents. The New York Waterway ferry terminal is just steps away and provides a 6-minute commute to Hudson Yards. For those relying on other transit options, NJ Transit buses and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail offer easy access to Hoboken, Jersey City, and other parts of Manhattan. For drivers, the building is conveniently located adjacent to the Lincoln Tunnel entrance, offering seamless travel into New York City.

With the opening of The Reserve at Estuary, Hartz Mountain Industries celebrates the final piece of Weehawken’s long-term waterfront transformation—a journey four decades in the making that now welcomes new residents to enjoy a reimagined urban lifestyle.
