As the $16.1 billion Hudson Tunnel Project continues to advance, outgoing Gateway Development Commission CEO Kris Kolluri announced during the Oct. 11 meeting that by December 31, seven of the nine contract packages will be either under construction or in the procurement phase.
“A significant amount of work is happening on site and in our finance department,” he said.
This milestone marks a crucial step in the long-awaited project aimed at improving rail connectivity between New York City and northern New Jersey.
