PNK Group Starts Industrial Park in Northeastern Pennsylvania

Caroline Raffetto

NEW YORK, Jan. 14, 2025 -- PNK Group, a leader in next-generation industrial buildings, has initiated the development of an industrial park in Jessup Township, northeastern Pennsylvania. A critical early step in the project was the remediation of 20-acre and 25-acre sites previously used for mining during the first half of the 20th century. The comprehensive earthworks and remediation efforts, including soil treatment and managing water runoff, are expected to positively influence the region’s ecological balance.

The area’s industrial sector has seen rapid growth, with logistics, manufacturing, and retail companies flocking to the region, drawn by the availability of labor and proximity to key transportation routes. The industrial park, located along the I-81 corridor and near major highways like I-78 and I-80, is strategically placed to serve these industries.

The Valley View 11 and Valley View 19 sites are set to feature industrial buildings of 162,907 and 255,776 square feet, respectively. PNK’s flexible structures can accommodate various uses, from manufacturing to storage and distribution. With a height of up to 45 feet and durable reinforced concrete construction, the buildings can support heavy machinery, including cranes with lifting capacities of up to eight tons. These attributes allow for versatile use across multiple industries.

As a pioneer in industrial engineering and manufacturing, PNK Group leads the way in technological innovation for industrial construction. Their unique construction approach, utilizing large-unit blocks, accelerates the building process by ensuring precise production of elements, reducing the need for labor and heavy machinery.
