Moss Construction has been awarded a $182 million contract to renovate Toyota Stadium, home to FC Dallas, in Frisco, Texas. The ambitious three-year project aims to enhance the fan experience, increase seating capacity, and modernize the stadium’s infrastructure.

The renovation work, focused on the east side of the stadium, is already underway. FC Dallas and Moss Construction hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on March 26 to officially mark the beginning of the transformation.

Construction While Matches Continue

Despite the scale of the renovation, FC Dallas will continue playing home matches at Toyota Stadium throughout the construction period. Ensuring a seamless fan experience while carrying out major upgrades presents a unique challenge, according to project leaders.

“This is not your typical renovation. We’re constructing the new Toyota Stadium while games are still being played without compromising the fan experience,” said Moss Construction Senior Vice President Jim Cuddihee in the release.

The first major milestone will be the reopening of the east side by summer 2026. Following that, construction will shift to the west side, with full completion anticipated in the first quarter of 2028.
