The City of Malibu has officially approved the construction of a $4.1 million skate park, with plans to open the facility later this year. The new park is expected to be completed by the fall, with construction set to begin in April. Until then, the temporary skate park located at Malibu Bluffs Park will remain open, allowing skaters to continue enjoying the sport during the construction phase.
