Construction has officially wrapped on Le Gallerie, a striking new seven-story commercial development located at 132 West 14th Street, straddling the border of Greenwich Village and Chelsea in Manhattan. The project, developed, designed, and owned by KPG Funds, brings 62,000 square feet of premium Class A office space to the market, along with 10,588 square feet of lower-level retail space.

Office leasing and marketing is being handled by JLL Capital Markets, while Ripco Real Estate is managing the retail portion of the property, which sits prominently between Sixth and Seventh Avenues and offers convenient access to numerous subway lines including the 1, 2, 3, F, L, and M trains.

Since the last construction update in February 2024, the building’s exterior has been fully completed. The façade features a geometric grid of recessed, floor-to-ceiling windows framed by beige metal paneling. A white marble wall marks the main entrance at the building’s western end, adding a refined touch to the overall minimalist design.

Prior to redevelopment, the structure served as auxiliary space for the adjacent Salvation Army headquarters and was clad in traditional tan brick. KPG Funds has completely transformed the building, both inside and out, into a modern commercial asset with upscale finishes and tech-integrated features.

“Every aspect of Le Gallerie has been meticulously crafted to elevate the workplace experience, seamlessly integrating smart technology, bespoke amenities, and striking design elements,” said Rod Kristberg, co-founder and CIO of KPG Funds. “Perfectly positioned in the heart of Greenwich Village, we are thrilled to be working with JLL Capital Markets to find the perfect investor or user to make this landmark asset its new home.”

The building includes two floors of pre-built, hospitality-inspired office suites featuring residential-style kitchens and bathrooms, “nano-wall” conference rooms, and high-end lighting and finishes. Integrated smart technology systems include solutions by Savant, Akuvox, Avigilon Alta, Sonos, Lutron, and Cooler Master, creating a fully connected and responsive workplace environment.

“Le Gallerie is a rare offering in a highly coveted submarket with an extremely limited supply of newly developed 7-Star quality office space,” said Jonathan Hageman, managing director at JLL Capital Markets. “KPG Funds has delivered the very best product of its kind in the market. As the city’s leasing market continues to outperform expectations, we anticipate a great deal of interest in this property.”

A standout feature of Le Gallerie is its expansive rooftop terrace, which includes outdoor conference areas, lounge seating, a bar, BBQ spaces, and unobstructed views of both the World Trade Center and Empire State Building. The lobby is also designed to double as an art gallery and will feature an exclusive commissioned piece by renowned British artist Julian Opie.

KPG Funds secured a 99-year ground lease with the Salvation Army in 2021, paving the way for a transformative redevelopment that blends architectural elegance with contemporary office trends. As demand for next-generation workspaces continues to evolve, Le Gallerie emerges as a compelling addition to Manhattan’s premium office inventory.
