Hoober, Inc., a Lancaster County-based family-owned dealership, has expanded its operations to become the authorized Kubota construction dealer in Virginia. The company will now offer Kubota’s construction equipment at its new locations in Ashland, Chester, and Wakefield.

In a statement, Hoober, Inc. shared that inventory is being transferred to these new locations, and the company is currently training its parts, sales, and service teams to meet the needs of its customers.

“Kubota continues to be a great product line for the locations that carry and support Kubota equipment,” said Don Mikes, president of Hoober, Inc. “When the opportunity arose to add Kubota construction products to our Virginia locations, we were very excited.”

Hoober, established in 1941 and based in Intercourse, has a long-standing familiarity with Kubota equipment. The company already offers Kubota products at its locations in Intercourse, Mifflintown, Middletown, DE, and Elmer, NJ. The Virginia expansion is expected to strengthen the company’s resource pool, providing greater access to parts inventory, service support, and equipment availability.

The new Virginia locations will not only provide Kubota’s construction lineup, including excavators, skid steers, track loaders, and wheel loaders, but also full-service maintenance and parts support. Additionally, Hoober’s Virginia sites will offer winter Uptime Service programs to customers in the area. For added convenience, Kubota parts ordering and parts diagrams are available online, making it easier for customers to access support outside of regular business hours.

“Adding the Kubota construction lineup is tremendous for the people in the community and customers in the region,” said Alex Wile, Kubota brand manager for Hoober, Inc. “Kubota is proven to provide customers with extremely reliable and cost-effective solutions, and Kubota is a company with a great track record for performance among contractors, landscapers, farmers, municipalities, rural lifestyle customers, and more.”

In addition to its locations in Virginia, Hoober, Inc. operates in Pennsylvania with locations in Intercourse, Mifflintown, Chambersburg, and Somerset, serving agricultural producers, contractors, and rural lifestyle customers across the Mid-Atlantic region.
