India Construction Materials Show Offers Subsidized Access for Georgia Buyers

Direct Resource Group, based in Atlanta, is actively recruiting Georgia-based companies to participate in the upcoming Vibrant Buildcon 2025, one of India's largest construction materials trade shows, set to take place from April 13-16. This show is part of a broader initiative to provide Georgia businesses and others from the U.S. with subsidized entry and covered expenses, helping them explore new opportunities in the construction industry.

The Vibrant Buildcon 2025 event is a significant international conference that offers a platform for suppliers, manufacturers, and buyers to connect and exchange ideas on innovative construction materials. This year, it is expected to attract around 200,000 attendees and feature over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 100 countries, showcasing products in a variety of construction sectors, including:
- Ceramic Tiles and Sanitary Ware
- Marble, Granite, and Stone
- Hardware, Bath Fittings, Sinks
- Pipes and Fittings
- Timber, Plywood, Laminates, Flooring
- Paints, Gypsum Board
David Gault, a seasoned logistics expert and current board member of the Georgia Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (GIACC), shared his insights with Global Atlanta. He explained that India has become more assertive in promoting its industries, especially in light of growing trade tensions between the U.S. and China.
"This event is a major step forward for the Indian government in actively promoting industries that can now serve as viable alternatives to China’s dominance in these commodities," said Mr. Gault. He also serves as the CEO of Direct Resource Group and is leading the trade mission to India in collaboration with B2B Edge Consultants.
The growing trade relationship between India and Georgia is evident in the data, with India now ranking as the ninth-largest source of imports to Georgia. At the Port of Savannah, container traffic from India has surged, reflecting the expanding economic ties between the two regions.
For eligible buyers, the Vibrant Buildcon conference offers attractive incentives. These include a reimbursement of up to $2,150 for airfare and accommodation for up to four nights at four- or five-star hotels. As of now, buyers from Georgia and seven other states have already registered, showing keen interest in the event and the chance to network with a global audience of industry leaders.
This trade mission is part of a wider effort by the GIACC to strengthen Georgia’s trade ties with India, following a successful trade mission to Coimbatore, India, earlier this year.
