Guernsey Unveils Oklahoma’s First Multi-Story Mass Timber Office Building
Guernsey, a leader in design and consulting services, has unveiled plans to build its new headquarters in Oklahoma City’s highly anticipated Alley North development. This marks the debut of Oklahoma’s first multi-story mass timber office building, reflecting the company's commitment to sustainability and innovation.
The headquarters will be strategically positioned adjacent to the planned north-south commuter rail line, making it a key component of the firm’s plans for its centennial celebration in 2028, and a forward-thinking move to secure its success for the next 100 years.
“We are excited to announce our new headquarters in Pivot Project’s Alley North Development, where we are not only designing a sustainable and innovative building but also collaborating alongside Vincit Constructors in making history as the first multi-story mass timber office building in Oklahoma,” said Jeff Napoliello, AIA, Executive Vice President and Design Group Director at Guernsey.
Alley North is envisioned as a mixed-use, vibrant hub for commerce, culture, and connectivity, positioning the site as a central point of growth in Oklahoma City. Guernsey’s involvement in this project not only anchors the development but demonstrates confidence in the area’s future.
“The careful incorporation of mass timber in harmony with more traditional elements is intended as a statement to the community about the future of sustainable, innovative design and construction,” said company leadership.
