Continuum Company has officially broken ground on La Baia North, the second of two bayfront condominium developments in Miami’s Bay Harbor Islands. This new project follows the success of La Baia South, the first development in the area, which has already sold out.

Continuum secured a $90 million construction loan for La Baia South, which was fully sold before construction even began. La Baia North, located at 9481 E. Bay Harbor Drive, is already 60% sold, with units offering panoramic views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, Miami Beach, and downtown Miami. The project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.

"Breaking ground on La Baia North marks a pivotal moment for Bay Harbor Islands, an area with immense untapped potential," said Bruce Eichner, Chairman and CEO of Continuum. "This project underscores our commitment to the development of this vibrant community. La Baia North will set a new benchmark for waterfront living, seamlessly blending the neighborhood’s distinct charm with modern sophistication."

The eight-story, 57-unit La Baia North will feature residences ranging from two to four bedrooms, with sizes ranging from 1,400 to 2,100 square feet. Prices for the units start at $1.4 million. Each residence will boast private terraces with transparent glass railings, dedicated home office spaces, and private boat slips.

The community will offer more than 8,500 square feet of green space, a sundeck, heated soaking spas, and a sunset lounge complete with a fire pit. In addition, there will be a rooftop splash pad, kids’ play lawn, rooftop grill station, hanging nest swings, study pod areas, and rooftop tents.

Other premium amenities include a dockside pick-up and drop-off area, a 9,700-square-foot rooftop amenity deck, and a water-sports launch dock equipped with kayaks, inflatables, and paddleboards.

Jacob’s Construction is the general contractor, and Gutman Development Marketing is handling sales. The architect for the project is Luis Revuelta, with C. Wright Studios responsible for landscaping and pool design. Durukan Design is the interior designer for La Baia North.
