Construction has officially started on the River Country Water Park, an exciting new addition to the Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo in Central Florida. Set to open in the summer of 2025, the water park promises a blend of thrill and relaxation, capturing the adventurous spirit of River Ranch.

River Country Water Park will feature three thrilling waterslides: an open slide that spans 281 feet, twisting and turning for an adrenaline rush, a vibrant striped tube slide, and a high-speed freefall slide that plunges guests from 35 feet above. For those looking to relax, the oversized, island-inspired lagoon pool with shallow-water sun shelves and lounge seating will provide a perfect spot to unwind between the excitement of the rides.

Families and younger visitors will enjoy the expansive aquatic play area, which includes a splash pad with mini slides, dump buckets, spray cannons, and a playful waterfall shower. The surrounding area will feature more kid-friendly activities, such as the “ride ‘n spray” horse, a mushroom maze, and a towering water feature called “Buddy Bovine.”

Guests can also enjoy unique, ranch-themed cabanas inspired by the resort’s famous glamping wagons and teepees. Each cabana, designed for up to six people, will be equipped with a large-screen TV, mini refrigerator, and an in-cabana safe. Additionally, the full-service “Bar’n” bar will offer refreshing drinks and snacks in a rustic, ranch-inspired atmosphere.

Westgate Resorts’ timeshare owners will enjoy complimentary access to the water park when visiting during their timeshare week, providing added value to their experience.
